Starting from his socialism-realism beginnings with propaganda sketches written form Communist newspapers or with rudimentary science-fiction novellas treating themes as anti[1]proletarian development of capitalist technologies like robots and atomic bombs, the essay analyzes Baciu’s gradual literary fulfillment in the Fantastica Romania field of the 60s. His most important piece of work is Grădina zeilor (The Garden of Gods), published in 1968, right before the author’s exile. This poetical novel, containing Chagall-like raptures in the diurnal logic, offers a powerful fiction on Holocaust and on various anti-totalitarian humanistic aspirations. These books ought to be legally, administratively and technically protected, more than they used to be. The author suggests a revising of the heritage book concept, and a reevaluation of the criteria that state that a certain book belongs to this particular category. In this respect, he endorses the extension of the period in which a book may be evaluated as old, from 1830, to 1890 (the moment when the Cyrillic alphabet ceased to be used in printing). The author also critically examines the present condition of the national fund of old…

While trying to adapt to exile in Sweden and carrying with her the trauma of the communist dictatorship in Romania, the writer employs the mechanisms by which the journal creates successive illusions of the real so as to seek refuge from the illusive multicultural reality into a compensating search for the self. ILEANA MĂLĂNCIOIU: VEDERE DE PE MUNTELE INTERIOR
Articles / December 15, 2013

👤Author Name: Daniela MoldoveanuAffiliation: Universitatea „Lucian Blaga” din Sibiu 📄Article Citation Recommendation: MOLDOVEANU, Daniela. „Ileana Mălăncioiu: vedere de pe muntele interior”. The poet adds to the inherent confession, the exteriority she integrates in her own scriptural body that becomes the Body par excellence. Ileana Mălăncioiu ensures – through her dual membership in poetry, also assumed and given by social involvement of the personal identity endorsed here in the idea of political freedom equal to the inner freedom – the moral and aesthetic element of continuity, so necessary for a nation’s development. A two-way road is thus established: from life into poetry and vice versa – which allows a continuous exchange. It’s not a small thing to forge a common coin, where the head is taken from the empirical reality and the tails comes from poetry, with regenerative powers. Keywords: Ileana Mălăncioiu, confessional poetry, social implication, reception teleology Bibliography: Mălăncioiu, Ileana, Linia vieţii, Iaşi,…

We pointed out that he used to investigate previous Romanian translations of the psalms along with Greek and Latin originals (Septuaginta and Vulgata). It can be observed, from our research, that Antim preferred the translations into Romanian from the Bucharest Bible of 1688 and those made by Dosoftei for the Psalter of 1680. But our analysis of the didaches proves that Antim did not only consult his sources, but he was also correcting them or he was giving them a form which he considered suitable for the oral rhetoric of his time. In this way, Antim greatly contributed for the Romanian literary language to evolve into its modern form that we know today. Keywords: Antim Ivireanul, Didaches, biblical sources, the Psalter, literary language…

Which are the phrases defining the Christian – Heathen opposition? How the idea of an organized Christian universe acting against the Pagan chaos is sustained? From the chronicles and other historical, oratorical or literary scholastic books to the letters sent to the Papacy or the western royal courts by the Eastern rulers, the Romanian scholars prove to be preoccupied with the portrait of the Other, the mysterious stranger speaking another language, living by different rites, praying to another God, and owning a totally different value system. A LITERARY PERSPECTIVEPages: 273–283Language: RomanianURL: https://ritl.ro/pdf/2013/25_C-I_Dima.pdf Abstract: The Anthem of Josaphat and the Stance of Saint Alexis are, in fact, the same poem about the eremitic life. The first part of our study analyses the confusion of these two characters to whom is dedicated the poem. From the hagiographic works we find out that the Prince Josaphat finished his life in the Indian desert and the nobelman Alexis passed his last years incognito in his father’s yards. There are two different ways to fulfill the same aim of an eremitic life. This constatation allows us to suggest in the second part of our paper that the real message of our text is the glorification of any kind of the sacred space which terrifies and offers, in the same time, the opportunity of…
